Gordon Ramsay quits Road Trip series as Gino and Fred launch new

Gordon, Gino and Fred Road Trip: Gordon crashes into a sign

Gino D’Acampo and Fred Siriex are set to travel as sustainably as possible as they embark on their next European adventure in a new ITV series.

Fred and Gino are set to visit Austria after the capital city, Vienna, was ranked as the greenest city in the world in 2020.

They will track down sustainable produce and immerse themselves in environmentally friendly lifestyles.

Speaking about their exciting new adventure, the pair told ITV: “We’re thrilled to be upcycled by ITV for another action-packed adventure and can’t wait to cook up some fantastic sustainable dishes whilst hopefully stirring up debate around these important issues.

“We might not come up with the recipe to save the planet but we hope to entertain, inform and inspire the audience to think about making changes in their own lives.”

First Dates star Sirieix has become more eco-conscious in recent years because of his children and said he is “determined to re-educate, recycle and re-engineer his eco-sceptic sidekick Gino in their own backyard.”

Gino and Fred previously shared an ITV series with Gordon Ramsay, but the Italian chef announced he had quit the show after “stressful” contract discussions.

Gino told his followers on Instagram: “Last week I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino and Fred Road trips. The reason is very simple – nothing to do with Gordon or Fred, the friendship is very strong.

“It’s just because we can’t get the dates together and sometimes when we do get the dates together sometimes they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me because I have other stuff that I have to do.
