This Mornings Craig Doyle reveals what people need to know about Holly Willoughby
There's no doubt about it, Holly Willoughby is known for cheerfully smiling on screen and charming the people she interviews, but what is it really like to work alongside her?
Well, according to her current co-presenter on This Morning Craig Doyle, the 42-year-old is, "one of the best I've ever worked with".
During a podcast appearance on White Wine Question Time podcast with
the 52-year-old said: "She's a very lovely, lovely, human being, and people need to realise that. She's unbelievable.
"One of the best I've ever worked with. Ever. I didn't know Holly beforehand."
Craig is now one of the show's many hosts, alongside Josie Gibson, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary, who have replaced Phillip Schofield as Holly's co-star from Monday to Thursday.
And it's clear that he had nothing but praise for the show's current longest-serving host.
"I'd never met her, once or twice, but I don't really mix in any circles, I had no pre-judgment," he continued.
"Nothing. I went in there and I only ever judge people by how they behave whilst they're in front of me. I don't care about anything else. I can spot an a******** from a distance. She is a wonderful person. A really, really kind lovely person."
The mum-of-three has also recently been vocal herself about the "great team of people" she has around her she returned to the show.
Holly also addressed the rumours of toxic claims on This Morning at the National Television Awards (NTAs).
She to to OK!, she said: "I know there's been lots of reports about things and for me personally, you know, I don't want to speak on behalf of other people, but it's a world I honestly I don't recognise. I think that we all look after each other is the is the honest truth."
The TV star then told us how "difficult" her year has been at times, but that people want things to "move on".
She said: "This last year has been quite difficult at times. You know, if I'm really honest, it's been up and down. I think it's been a really difficult year for everybody but what's lovely is you find that people rally around you and, you know, the goodwill is there."
