Love Island’s Millie and Liam break silence on real reason for split – and why they’re not living together after reunion | The Sun
LOVE Island winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon have opened up on the reason behind their shock split last year, after recently getting back together.
Liam, 24, and Millie, 26, soared to fame in 2021 after winning the seventh series of the hit dating show – but their legion of fans were left devastated when they opted to go their separate ways.
That was until recently, when rumours started building that they’d had a romantic reconciliation.
Now firmly back on and appearing happier than ever, the popular pair have become Instagram official once more, but fans might not see as much content of them together as they once did.
Opening up on the split, Welshman Liam explained: “We want to keep it a bit more private to a certain extent.
“We spend our lives on social media, it’s hard not to share the relationship.

“Now we’re just loving life.”

But the couple appear to have put that chapter behind them, and couldn’t look more loved up if they tried while celebrating MONOPOLY returning to McDonald’s restaurants on Wednesday 6th September.
Sitting down for a chat with The Sun, Millie showed off her stunning new brunette locks – which Liam revealed he’s a big fan of –while dressed in a PrettyLittleThing bodycon top and her “go-to ripped jeans.”
And the smitten pair, who love a trip abroad together, told us that they have a big holiday to Florida planned, where they’ll embrace their love of rollercoasters, and booze.
“He needs to get some practice in at being a better photographer though,” Millie added, with Liam insisting: “I’m getting better.”
Back on home ground, despite having bought a £1million Essex mansion fresh off the back of Love Island, Millie and Liam are now no longer living together.
Instead, Millie lives with best pal and villa co-star Chloe Burrows and it seems like an arrangement all parties are happy with for now.
“We don’t live together no, but in the future if things continue to go as lovely as they are…” Liam adds.
They also said the family addition of a dog isn’t off the cards, but Millie insists it would be kept at Liam’s pad, not hers.
Evidently unhappy with that arrangement Liam said: “Well I’d be left with the dog and it’d be s******* and peeing everywhere and I’d be left to clean it up.”
The couple haven’t been short of enjoying exciting activities together recently, and their first official public outing as a couple since the reunion, with McDonald’s, was just the latest.
The popular MONOPOLY game gives customers the opportunity to win prizes by collecting game pieces from the menu, but Liam insists he’s already won the biggest prize of them all.
