Legendary crime series returning to screens – and it's just months away | The Sun
A LEGENDARY crime series is set to return for the latest season with a huge star in the lead role.
Sky bosses have announced American homicide show True Detective will be back for a fourth season in January, after its release date was pushed back due to the WGA and SAG strikes.
A first look trailer has given a glimpse into the terrifying new case Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro are faced with as the show premieres on January 14.
The unlikely duo are seen driving out to Alaska in opening scenes, where they investigate the mysterious disappearance of eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station.
And it seems like both of the women know more than they're letting on.
As bodies start to pile up and a strange symbol keeps cropping up every time there's a death, it looks like both detectives will have to face darkness from their pasts to bring the truth behind the murders to light.
