Good Morning Britain fans switch off as they issue same complaint
Richard Madeley blushes as old BBC recording unearthed
Some Good Morning Britain viewers ended up “switching off” during Tuesday’s edition of the ITV breakfast show.
Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid reported on the latest updates on the fighting pause between Israel and Hamas before turning their attention to Omid Scobie’s controversial new book Endgame, which details the rifts and tensions within the Royal Family.
It wasn’t long though before both topics caused viewers to complain and as some took to X, formerly known as Twitter, they admitted they’d be “switching off”.
@FlopsyPickle penned: “Still waiting for GMB to have a balanced discussion about Israel & Gaza, instead it’s a stream of pro-Israeli propaganda. Where’s the interviews with Gaza civilians or their families? #GoodMorningBritain #gmb.”
@elwell_alan added: “Time to switch off now everything on repeat #gmb.”

@TomFord83939 shared “Sick and tired of all the incorrect propaganda trash on @GMB relating to transgender and separation of gender and sex and also William and Harry compassion stories of ‘budget airlines’. Switch TV #GMB #transrights #UnitedNation #PrinceHarryandMeghan #PrinceofWales #trashtv.” (sic)
“#GMB @GMB obsession with Prince Harry and Meghan is so creepy now. Why is Susanna business if the brothers make up or not. How many books have been written about the Royal Family over the decades,” (sic) @Kellyfree12 commented.
@Rise_and_grind7 added: “How hypocritical are #gmb especially Madeley and Sue criticising the Royals for their carbon footprints when Tornado Tobin flys to the corner shop for a pint of milk.” (sic)

“The book looks like it’s been written by Chat GPT,” Ed Vaizey said of Omid’s new book during the Good Morning Britain discussion.
He continued: “Every three years this book is going to come out.”
Richard chimed: “I think the question I put here yesterday, is given that it’s strongly suspected that Harry and Meghan have again co-operated with Scobie in the writing of this book and have given him information and inside stories – and that’s quite obvious actually…”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
