GMBs Adil Ray announces break away from ITV show as fans rush to support him
Good Morning Britain presenter Adil Ray has announced that he will be taking a temporary break from the ITV show.
The 49-year-old actor and stand-in presenter returned to the breakfast porgramme last week after three months away.
Adil first joined Good Morning Britain in April 2018, replacing Piers Morgan who quit the show following the backlash for comments he made regarding Megan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

But the star is taking another break from GMB and he announced to Instagram on Monday (August 21) that he won't be on the show for "a while".
Posting a cheerful snap of himself in the GMB studio, he wrote: "Back @gmb on Thursday and Friday this week from 6. Then not on for a while so don’t miss out. Roll up roll up! While stocks last! It’s a bargain!"
Fans headed straight to the comment section to share their support after his announcement.
One social media user wrote: "Worth a million RM's . Make this lovely guy permanent please."
Another echoed: "Can't wait to see you back on our screens as I said before wish it was permanent."

While a fourth fan penned: "Yay….Oh there he is, that gorgeous face on our box again!"
The news comes after fans demanded Adil to apologise following his claims that pet owners often smelt like their pets.
While presenting GMB alongside Kate Garraway back in April, Adil said: "You can smell them if they have pets. You can smell if they have dogs or cats. You always can."
Clearly startled by his remarks, Kate replied: "We've gone in a whole new direction of insult, haven't we? It's sort of weird, I don't think pet owners want to know if they smell."
However, Adil insisted: "It's not an insult. They do, they do."
A while later, Adil then leaned in to sniff his co-host and said: "Fish?" as Charlotte, who was also in the studio at the time gasped in horror.
As Kate gave a disapproving look, fans at home headed over to social media to complain.
One viewer wrote: "@GMB really offended that Adil said @kategarraway smelled of FISH! A disgusting misogynist comment that he should apologise for! #GMB."
While another said: "What a disgusting thing Adil Ray said to Kate this morning."
