EastEnders favourite confirms exit as he takes a break from the soap | The Sun

AN EASTENDERS favourite has confirmed his character's exit as he takes a break from the soap.

Following the bombshell news that Brian Conley has abruptly quit EastEnders and his role as Rocky Cotton, another Walford resident has confirmed they are departing Albert Square.

Bobby Brazier joined the show as Freddie Slater last year and has proved to be a huge hit with fans.

But due to his upcoming participation in this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing, the 20-year-old is taking a break from the EastEnders.

Bobby revealed: "I’m taking a break. I’ve filmed it all, and I’m not telling you. I’ll be back."

While Bobby's departure is only temporary, the same cannot be said for Brian, 62.
