KISS are currently on their End of the Road farewell world tour, having performed in the UK for the last time this past summer.

Amid their concerts all over the globe, founding members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley are now being taken to court over the Covid death of their long-time guitar tech.

TMZ obtained the new lawsuit by the family of Francis Stueber, who died a few days after contracting coronavirus while on tour with KISS back in October 2021.

The family say that Covid spread among the tour personnel two months prior when Paul had it, and claim that the virus continued to spread due to lax safety on tour

Francis’ relatives claim that anyone on tour who contracted coronavirus was instructed to quarantine in their hotel room in whichever city KISS was touring in, but they say that the protocols didn’t offer much else.

The lawsuit claims that Francis contracted Covid when in Detroit and was told to remain in his room at a Sheraton hotel. 

His family claims KISS manager Doc McGhee failed to arrange for medical personnel to visit and examine him before he died two days after testing positive. 

Francis’ relatives are seeking damages from Gene, Paul, Marriott hotels and Live Nation. Express.co.uk has contacted KISS’ reps for comment.
