EastEnders Sean Slater star unrecognisable as he vows to have fitness overhaul

EastEnders' Robert Kazinsky lives a life far from Walford after giving up his role as Sean Slater on the soap.

Although he's come back a handful of times since he left Albert Square in 2009, Rob has focused on more projects including For Love Or Money, Dream Team and Warcraft. But now, it seems his focus is on his health as the star prepares to turn 40.

Taking to Instagram, Rob shared a series of snaps without a top on as he posed for the camera from all different angles surrounded by weights. In the post, he explained that he's going to be getting active before turning 40.

He said: "Here is day one, my starting off point. I weigh 220lbs, I'm at 19.7% body fat.

"I turn 40 in a few months and one thing I've learned is that it's getting harder and harder every single day to train and recover, I can't do things like I did in my 20s, so what's the plan?"

Rob explained that he's got a great hob coming up after the strikes and he wants to get into "superhero shape", telling his followers he'll give an update soon. He added that he would be doing some boxing training and said he wants to get "back into shape".

His followers were quick to share their support as one user wrote: "You got this Rob! You're a badass!", while another said: "Let's gooooo!"

The actor has stayed radio silent since his post and fans are eagerly waiting to see an update from the TV star after his last post, but he's yet to post more pictures. Some of Rob's 21,000 Instagram followers have been loyally following him since he joined the platform.

He made his mark on EastEnders before Instagram launched, but he quickly became a fan-favourite once again when he returned in 2019. Sean came back to Walford after discovering Jean had cancer and he also wanted to see Roxy – but soon discovered she was dead.

Sean later checked himself into a mental health facility and didn't return until 2021 for a brief period.

While fans have always been happy to see him back, Rob teased a US project as he was waiting for the writers strike to come to an end, so it's unlikely he'll be back on screen anytime soon.
