RAINS Aptly Examines Water for SS24

With a name like RAINS, it only makes sense that the brand includes some exploration of water. Specifically, staying prepared for the many weathered facets of water. Well, that is exactly what RAINS did for the Spring/Summer 2024 season when it unveiled its “Drenched” collection on the runway this past June. Now, the brand is continuing this exploration for the SS24 season with its new lookbook.

With the SS24 runway show this past summer, RAINS showcased a wardrobe of polyurethane raincoats that are fit to handle the elements. But what elevated the pieces were details like oversized silhouettes, structural elements, textured details, utilitarian layering and monochromatic themes – all presenting an expanded vision of the raincoat.

Now the brand’s SS24 lookbook takes a closer look into the arsenal of eye-catching pieces, which spans outerwear alongside weather-ready pants and shorts. Whether it be a technical gray rain bomber jacket with matching relaxed cargo pants, a shimmery electric blue set or a see-through algae green jacket, the collection fuses forward-facing style with functionality.

Take a look at the new offering in the gallery above. RAINS’ Spring/Summer 2024 “Drenched” collection is set to release in the coming months.

In other news, Michelle Yeoh is Balenciaga’s latest brand ambassador.
