Piers Morgan offered Jordan Peterson a shoulder to cry on during the American speaker’s appearance on Talk TV’s Uncensored.

Tuesday night’s episode saw the clinical psychologist express his views to the British broadcaster and Jordan burst into tears towards the end of his segment.

The 58-year-old presenter hit his guest with some quick fire questions and looked taken aback when the star became teary-eyed.

Jordan, 61, struggled to keep his composure while explaining what the best and worst thing about living a life under the spotlight involved.

He became overwhelmed while recounting how he found his fame later on in life and wiped his eyes when he said: ‘I think that’s part of what made me ill’.

The star told Piers: ‘Imagine someone gave you everything you could possibly imagine and more’, to which the host responded, ‘It’s an amazing thing, Jordan’.

Going on to explain that he finds it ‘overwhelming’ all the time, the speaker reiterated his gratitude for his fans who endlessly support his teachings.

Elsewhere in the programme, Jordan shared his opinions on Russell Brand and the recent allegations of sexual assault faced by the comedian.

He said: ‘Russell’s sexual behaviour was exactly the kind of hedonistic nightmare that all the kind of radicals and progressives are rah, rah, rah-ing about non-stop except when it comes to visit them at home.

‘He was celebrated for his womanising and he’s apologised for that and he stopped drinking and he stopped taking cocaine and usually people who engage in licentious and impulsive behaviour of the sort that’s liable to get you in trouble are extraordinary intoxicated by alcohol at the time of doing it.

‘So the mere fact that he’s become sober in recent years and also attempted to atone for his sins is a real plus.’

Piers questioned his guest over his stance and asked how he would feel if the accusations against Brand were proved to be true.

Jordan replied: ‘As you said earlier, we have courts for determining that and what constitutes the truth especially in retrospect – particularly in the fog of an alcoholic encounter let’s say – is not an easy thing to determine.’

He added: ‘You certainly don’t presume that just because someone is accused it’s time to strip them and throw them out into the street.’
