In another pet controversy, Katie Price has been slammed for seeming to hit her new puppy Tank in a TikTok live video.
Katie, 45, received immediate backlash from shocked viewers as puppy Tank excitedly played on her lap only to receive a suspected smack.
The former glamour model tried to maintain control of the growling dog while attempting to share some of her ābargainsā with viewers.
Frustrated with his behaviour, Katie put the puppy off camera next to her and gave him a toy but the Alsatian continued to want fuss and attention.
Tank could be heard growling and was apparently sitting on Katieās favourite jumpers when the mum-of-five reached her hand out and a noise similar to a smack was heard.
Peta have slammed the behaviour with founder Ingrid Newkirk saying it ācementedā the idea that Katie is āunfitā to keep pets.
āShort of shooting a puppy in the head on TikTok, there is almost nothing more Katie Price could do to cement the fact that she is an unfit dog guardian and an irresponsible person,ā Ingrid told Metro.co.uk in a statement.
After the smack, Katie grins at someone else in the room before explaining that the house is āhecticā and buries her head in her hands.
Tank was adopted after the death of her dog Blade earlier this year and Katie vowed to keep him protected.
The adoption came amid a petition with over 36,000 signatures to prevent the TV personality from owning animals due to a history of tragic pet deaths in her care.
In June, Blade was hit by a car after he escaped from the starās home in East Sussex and accidentally made his way onto the busy A24.
This death was just seven months after the modelās other dogĀ Sharon was knocked downĀ and killed on the same main road.
Her Alsatian Queenie wasĀ hit by a delivery driverĀ the year before Sharonās death after she was given to Katie as a present from her ex Kieran Hayler for her 38thĀ birthday.
Another Alsatian, Sparkle, was also killed on the A24 in 2020 and her French Bulldog Rolo was suffocated by a chair just months later.
Rolo had been purchased as a gift to her daughter Princess to help her cope with the loss of Sparkle.
Two other pets, a horse and a chameleon named Marvin, have also died in the care of Katie and her family.
Metro has reached out to representatives for Katie Price for comment.
