EA Sports Shares Visceral Gameplay and Frostbite™ Engine Graphics From 'UFC 5'
Continuing its relationship with the world’s premier mixed martial arts organization, Electronics Arts‘ EA Sports division has announced UFC 5. The latest installment in the definitive MMA experience has been developed with the Frostbite™ Engine for the first time for enhanced gameplay and graphics, along with the all-new Real Impact System.
“UFC 5 is the most realistic MMA experience fans can have outside of the Octagon,” said UFC President Dana White. “This game is incredible and truly a next-generation UFC experience.”
UFC 5 development with the Frostbite™ Engine offers realism with high-speed 60 frames-per-second rendering and gameplay simulation. New additions include community upgrades, realistic blow-by-blow damage with hyper-accurate progression through the Real Impact System, Cinematic K.O. Replay, Doctor’s Checks and Stoppages, Seamless Submissions, and Fight Week and Alter Egos. UFC 5 has also implemented an all-new face animation tool that creates photorealistic fighter likenesses accentuated with advanced body sculpting and strand-based hair.

Aside from the Standard Edition featuring box art with UFC Featherweight Champion Alexander Volkanovski and former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko, the UFC 5 Deluxe Edition will come with a special cover with UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya.
