Love Islands Teddy Soares dating someone new and really happy after Faye Winter split

Teddy Soares has revealed he's dating someone new and is "really happy" following his split from Faye Winter earlier this year.

The Love Island stars, Teddy, 28 and Faye, 27, met on Love Island back in 2021, and just a month after they finished the show as runners-up, they moved in together. The pair dated for 18 months before announcing their split in February after months of speculation and have since kept a low profile when it comes to dating, until now.

While attending a recent red carpet event, Teddy, who is currently starring in the new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, lifted the lid on his new romance and said the person is a "total vibe".

"I am loved-up at the moment," he told The Sun. "Well maybe I shouldn't say loved-up but I am seeing someone and really happy."

Speaking at the Pink Ribbon charity fundraiser for breast cancer, he added: "It is early days and I'm not going to say who it is. We are just taking our time and getting to know each other.

"I think at this stage we are just finding out about each other and becoming best friends which is really nice. She makes me very happy. She's a total vibe. I'm not sure I should be saying all this as I've not spoken about her before but yes I'm into her.

"She may not know it but yes I am really into her."

It comes after Faye took a swipe at her ex-boyfriend Teddy last month and told fans there's "absolutely nothing" she misses about being in a relationship. During an Instagram Q&A, the Love Island star posted the questions on top of random pictures including her dog Bonnie, and herself herself by a pool.

It was one fan's question about relationships that caught attention as they asked: "What's something that you miss about being in a relationship?" Faye answered with a longer response than most expected, with even the star commenting that her revelation was "a bit deep maybe."

She said: "I actually don’t think I miss anything but that’s just because I’m at such a different stage of my life. I feel like I don’t really even recognise the person I was when I was in any of my relationships."

She continued: "Bit deep maybe." She did add that there are two things she does miss though.

"One thing would be, you know when you never have to drive, yeah that and oh having my hair played with," followed by two laughing emojis.

Faye has previously spoken to OK! where she told us it was "definitely her decision to end the relationship with Teddy." During the chat, she said: "I was very open to seeing if there were small changes that could be made, but it didn’t work out that way."
