Jeremy Clarkson sends message to Amanda Owen after Ravenseat closure

Jeremy Clarkson liked a post on Amanda Owen’s social media account as she enjoyed some family time.

The former Top Gear host was clearly delighted to see The Yorkshire Shepherdess back online following the closure of her Ravenseat farm in the Yorkshire Dales.

The 49-year-old shared a series of heartwarming videos and photos of her family swimming near their home and enjoying the sizzling temperatures.

She captioned her post: “The place to be,” completed with swimming emojis and the hashtags Yorkshire and Home Sweet Home.

Like many of Amanda’s followers, fellow farmer Jeremy Clarkson was thrilled to see her back online and was one of the many fans to flood her with support as he liked the shepherdess’ post.

Many of Amanda’s fans flocked to the comments section with words of support. One person left a comment saying: “Great to see you posting again, hope you and the family are all ok xx.”

Another follower typed: “That is a gorgeous sky, and great to see your posts again. Hope you are all well.”

Earlier this summer, mum-of-nine announced to her fans that she would be closing her farm to members of the public and did not post any social media content for months. She shared a post at the beginning of the month.

The reasons behind the farm closure are still relatively unknown.

The Channel 5 presenter said in a simple statement: “Ravenseat Farm is closed to visitors until further notice, so, unfortunately, we are not serving cream teas. Thank you for your understanding. Amanda.”

Amanda has stayed relatively quiet on social media as she also announced that her marriage had ended. In 2022, she posted a joint statement that after 21 years she had separated from her husband Clive.

At the time, she said in a statement: “Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

“This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.

Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority being the happiness and well-being of our children.”
