Im A Celebs Nella Rose addresses b******* backlash after sparking concern
I’m A Celebrity’s Nella Rose has described the backlash towards her on social media as “b*******”, after being inundated with criticism over her on-screen feud with former campmate Fred Sirieix. Despite a stormy confrontation on the ITV show, it looked as if the only beef currently in her life is the mouthwatering Wagyu she shared footage of via her Instagram account.
“Obviously b******t has gone on on social media but I just wanna say that I enjoyed my time in there [the jungle],” Nella adamantly told her one million followers. She was virtually unrecognisable in her latest video, having given herself a glam makeover after exiting the jungle.
“I faced my fears, learnt a lot about myself, met a lot of amazing people – s*** went down, but it is what it is!” she shrugged. “I’m happy, I don’t want people to be worried about me. I’ve enjoyed my time in Australia!”
It comes after some fans had shared their concern for Nella, as she wasn’t greeted by any friends or family on the show’s famous bridge after exiting the jungle. They were also worried about how the social media influencer would cope with the negative social media posts about her row with Fred.
After braving some of the dubious cuisine in camp – and refusing to try Fred’s cooking during their feud – food was high on the agenda as she was reunited with the little luxuries of everyday life. Nella tried some wagyu beef before visiting an Australian branch of Nandos. She could also be seen shooting hoops on a basketball court.
Besides her Instagram footage, which also featured her brothers, Nella opted to appear via video link on This Morning to be interviewed about her time in camp. She’d previously declined to appear on ITV’s Lorraine show, which host Lorraine Kelly had described as a “shame”, but Nella confirmed that she needed some time out to “process” her experiences before speaking.

She has now told This Morning hosts Rylan Clark and Emma Willis that her argument with Fred was “a big fat misunderstanding”.
“We’ve gone over it, everything is cool, everything is blessed. I don’t know why everyone’s still crying about it,” she stated.
Fred had told the 26-year-old YouTuber that, at 51, he was old enough to be her father – prompting a furious reaction from Nella, who told him he was being “disrespectful” and “insensitive”.
Nella had previously informed Fred that her father had tragically died three years ago, leaving her with no surviving parents, and when the First Dates star made the comment, she’d taken it as an insult.

“I don’t want to talk to you, I don’t want to be around you. I only allow people to disrespect me once. Don’t bring up my dead parent, are you stupid?… Weirdo!” she’d raged the following day.
However, on This Morning, she brushed off the drama, explaining: “In the jungle, everything is intensified.
“That subject [my father] is very triggering for me because it’s a fresh wound.”
Fred urged fans of the show not to “hate” Nella during his own exit interview, insisting: “Not in my name!”, before shrugging off the disagreement by describing the jungle as “like a pressure cooker”.
Meanwhile, Nella added that despite the hostile exchange, there are no hard feelings and she has made “friends for life” in camp.
She didn’t badmouth Nigel Farage, despite the disagreements they had in camp while discussing immigration, and she said she “won’t forget” him or the “interesting conversations” they had.
“I feel in life it’s good to hear different opinions. Me and Nigel come from two different classes and walks of life. We can agree to disagree. No one gets hurt, it’s fine,” she concluded.
