Cliff-top seaside mansion which belonged to late TV entertainer Max Bygraves is put on the market for \u00a35.5million<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bygraves lived in the mansion for 35 years and raised his three children there\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A clifftop mansion which belonged to late entertainer Max Bygraves has been put up for sale for \u00a35.5million.<\/p>\n<p>The TV star lived in the seaside mansion in Bournemouth, Dorset, with wife Blossom for 35 years and they raised their three children there.<\/p>\n<p>They sold the 1930s property for \u00a32million in 2006 before they emigrated to Australia. Blossom died in 2011 and Bygraves, whose catchphrase was &#8216;I want to tell you a story&#8217;, passed away a year later at the age of 89.<\/p>\n<p>The current owners have modernised the seven bedroom home in the Alum Chine area and have now listed it for sale for \u00a35.5million.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/19\/15\/79131737-12881427-image-a-32_1703000409196.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>This is the cliff-top seaside mansion which belonged to late TV entertainer Max Bygraves<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/19\/15\/79131787-12881427-image-m-36_1703000435580.jpg\" height=\"823\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The TV star\u00a0lived in the seaside mansion in Bournemouth with wife Blossom for 35 years<\/p>\n<p>Aptly named Panorama House, it has stunning views of Poole Bay from Bournemouth Pier to the east and the Sandbanks peninsula to the west.\u00a0 It also has the remnants of a World War Two concrete gun emplacement at the bottom of the garden.<\/p>\n<p>The property is spread over four floors, including a basement where there is a cinema room and a games room. The ground floor has an enormous entrance hall with a large kitchen, dining room and lounge that all have sea views and a gym.<\/p>\n<p>On the first floor there are five bedrooms and the top floor has two more bedrooms each with en suite bathrooms, dressing rooms and balconies overlooking the sea.<\/p>\n<p>The house is being sold by estate agents Luxury &amp; Prestige. A spokesperson said: &#8216;Panorama House is tucked away at the end of a cul-de-sac and literally overlooks Alum Chine and the beaches below.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It is in a remarkable location. Sandbourne Road is the only section of the cliff top where houses have direct cliff access without a road in between.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Panorama House has been home to the rich and famous and its guest list includes some illustrious names from the past.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/19\/15\/79131825-12881427-image-a-33_1703000415826.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The property is spread over four floors and includes a basement where there is a games room<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/12\/19\/15\/79131785-12881427-image-a-35_1703000421831.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>On the first floor there are five bedrooms and the top floor has two more bedrooms<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;It was constructed in the pre-war era and it changed hands over the proceeding years until the current owners acquired it in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They spent a fortune updating and reinventing the house to suit their own needs. The result is a quirky and clearly cherished family home by the sea with a huge amount of character and lots of up to date features.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;The grounds include various viewpoints overlooking the beach.
