A SURVEY has revealed adults talk more about TV shows than the weather and jobs.<\/p>\n
The study, commissioned by streaming service Roku, also found half of Brits have unfinished TV shows on their watching list. <\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A poll of 2,000 TV viewers found 39 per cent spend more time discussing the latest series with friends and family than they do the forecast (27 per cent) and their employment (24 per cent).<\/p>\n
While people also have longer conversations about what\u2019s on the box than food (24 per cent) and relationships (17 per cent).<\/p>\n
When it comes to boxsets, 51 per cent have something unfinished at any given time \u2013 with an average of four outstanding shows on their current TV viewing list.<\/p>\n
A lack of time (36 per cent), forgetting what\u2019s happened so far (33 per cent), and mood changes (32 per cent) are the most common reasons.<\/p>\n
