A New York woman’s video of her dad sleeping on the floor of an airplane has gone viral on TikTok, leaving viewers stunned.

Natalie Bright’s video, which shows her father snoozing in the small space between two rows of seats, has been viewed over 11 million times.

Natalie humorously captioned the footage: “Flying economy for 15 hours? No problem,” as her dad looked quite comfortable in his makeshift bed on the plane floor.

The video sparked a flurry of comments from TikTok users, with many hailing the man a “genius” for his unusual sleeping spot.

Some passengers questioned if the cabin crew would really allow people to sleep on the floor, with one saying: “There is no way flight attendants let anyone do this?”

Another passenger responded that it was allowed on long flights as long as no one complained and they weren’t blocking the aisle.

However, according to Stack Exchange, some airlines like Qantas, JAL, and Finnair don’t allow passengers to sleep on the floor.

Many viewers were put off by the idea of sleeping on the floor, claiming it couldn’t be clean.

One person said: “Tell him to get up,” adding that it’s just as bad as hospital floors!

But another person disagreed, saying that on a long-haul flight, some standards have to be thrown out the window.

They confessed: “Ok, this is me,” and added: “Those 15-hour flights push you to your limits, I’ve done 10 years worth!”
