MARTIN Lewis has revealed how you can get some M&S freebies in the run-up to the big day.<\/p>\n

The 12 days of M&S starts from December 1 and it could not be easier to be in with a chance of winning.<\/p>\n

In the recent edition of The Martin Lewis Money Show Live, the consumer champion revealed how shoppers could get freebies from M&S.<\/p>\n

He said: "The M&S Sparks offer has been going on for a few years and has been confirmed to happen again this year.<\/p>\n

"From memory last year some people got free gin, chocolates, mince pies and discounts."<\/p>\n

The 12 days of M&S is open to shoppers who have a Sparks account and gives customers the chance to win a different gift for the first 12 days of December.<\/p>\n

To be in with a chance of winning a prize you just need to sign up for a Sparks account which you can do on the website.<\/p>\n

You then have 24 hours to open each door to find out if you have won.<\/p>\n

Shoppers who open all 12 doors are also in with a chance of winning a big cash prize.<\/p>\n

If you are worried that you might forget to open a door and miss out you can download the M&S app and opt to set a reminder.<\/p>\n

Not only that there are also extra prizes to be won by using the app.<\/p>\n

We can only guess what might be on offer this year based on previous years' prizes, so some exclusions may apply.<\/p>\n

One savvy shopper on TikTok shared details of what she won through the offer last year.<\/p>\n

In the clip shared to the social media platform (@hannah_nyomi), Hannah Nyomi\u00a0said: "There are so many offers!<\/p>\n

"They've got free gifts and festive offers every day from the 1st to the 12th of December.<\/p>\n

"Last year people were getting bottles of gin for free.<\/p>\n

"I got a shortbread biscuit box in like a little light-up lantern."<\/p>\n

You can find more details about the 12 days of Christmas on the M&S website and there is also a barcode you can scan if you want to download the app.<\/p>\n

How does the Sparks card work?<\/h2>\n

If you enjoy shopping at Marks and Spencer it is definitely worth signing up for the supermarket's Sparks Card.<\/p>\n

Members can be in with a chance of winning free food and even free Percy Pigs.<\/p>\n

As well as freebies you can get discounts off entire ranges such as homewares.<\/p>\n

Another bonus is it personalises the offers so you will only be shown things that you are interested in and are likely to buy anyway.<\/p>\n

You can also collect a stamp every time you buy an M&S hot drink and get the seventh free.<\/p>\n

It is an easy way to keep all of your receipts in one place too as you can receive email recipes for transactions made in-store.<\/p>\n
