Katie Price has revealed her eldest son Harvey suffered a huge meltdown recently, which led to significant damage within her "Mucky Mansion" home.

Harvey, 21, suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome, Septo-optic Dysplasia and autism, requiring round-the-clock care as a result. His disabilities can affect his behaviour, which former glamour model Katie recently alluded to in a one-off live podcast event.

Addressing fans at The Lowry Theatre in Salford, mum-of-five Katie was joined by her younger sister Sophie as the pair discussed a wide range of topics – not least the subject of Harvey.

Katie, 45, revealed: "Last week he broke three windows, two tellies [TVs] and one door and ruined a mattress as he still wets the bed so I was like I can’t wait for him to go [back to college] this time, but I love him so much."

She continued: "He must have heard me say that. He sent me a message when he got back to college – 'Mummy, I miss you so much, I need cuddles and kisses and it makes Harvey sad that mummy needs a break'."

The emotional account didn't go unnoticed by the almost sold out crowd, as one attendee told the Sun afterwards: "Katie appeared emotional when she told the crowd about the message that Harvey had sent to her. It was apparent that she meant no ill will by what she had said as she told her fans about the craziness and chaos of her home life."

They continued: "Harvey later sent a video to the star which was played out to the crowd as he drew a picture of two frogs holding microphones which was to represent Katie and her sister, Sophie, on stage." It follows concerns raised by Katie in September that Harvey, who attends the National Star College in Cheltenham, has been "crying all the time".

Speaking on the regular version of podcast, The Katie Price Show, she explained: "I'm a bit concerned for him at the minute. He phones me crying all the time. 'I love you, I miss you, I need your cuddles.' For a 21-year-old, he's always going to be my baby. He does come home; I do see him."

Katie continued: "I've just had a challenging year, you know as well as what is going on with the other kids. But the kids are my life, my priority, they are my number one. I don't love them all any different, they just have different needs they need from me."

A couple of weeks earlier, Harvey had been rushed to hospital with an ongoing ear complaint, which Katie believes could be the reason for his woes. "They syringed all his ear out at the hospital again yesterday, so he’s calling me and going [crying], 'Mum!’ and all that," she added. "Then last night when he went to bed, they’ve put a bandage around his head to stop him doing that [touching his ears]. So he’s phoning me feeling very sorry for himself."
