Ken left Radio 2 in March, having presented his mid-morning show for more than three decades.<\/p>\n<p>He subsequently moved to Greatest Hits Radio in April. He took with him the incredibly popular PopMaster quiz.<\/p>\n<p>According to data from research body Rajar, Greatest Hits Radio appears to be enjoying a Bruce bounce, with the average audience now at 6.6 million \u2013 up 14% on the previous quarter, and more than double the 2.9 million listeners two years ago.<\/p>\n<p> <strong> READ MORE: <\/strong> <strong>Jeff Stelling &#8216;heartbroken&#8217; as his beloved dog dies after tough health battle<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/79\/590x\/secondary\/5034997.jpg?r=1698382136868\"><\/p>\n<p>Bruce said he was \u201cdelighted\u201d with the latest figures, adding: \u201cIt\u2019s been an honour to share this new adventure with those that have made the switch, and talking of honours I have an appointment to keep this Friday, which explains why I\u2019m not on air this week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After being named in the King\u2019s birthday honours list in June, Bruce said he hoped it would help highlight the challenges facing autistic people, following his son\u2019s diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p>He said in a statement to the PA news agency: \u201cThis is a great surprise and privilege.
