Gwyneth Paltrow shows fans around mansion<\/h3>\n

Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest celebrity to eye up a holiday home in Cornwall.<\/p>\n

Although usually based in sunny LA, the Iron Man and Shakespeare in Love star has reportedly been checking out properties in the quaint seaside village of Polzeath.<\/p>\n

The area has a ladies’ surf club so Gwyneth should feel right at home given the popularity of the sport in California.<\/p>\n

\u201cGwyneth has been in the area recently and has been looking at a couple of potential places for a holiday home,\u201d a local said. \u201cShe isn\u2019t a stranger and has spent a bit of time in Cornwall over the years.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome locals can get annoyed at the number of rich out of towners who come and buy up houses around our area but everyone seems pretty excited about the idea of having Gwyneth moving in,\u201d they told The Sun.<\/p>\n

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Gwyneth Paltrow for comment.<\/p>\n

According to census data, Cornwall is the most popular destination in the UK for people to own a second home, with 6,080 holiday homes used by 14,230 people.<\/p>\n

Should Gwyneth follow through on purchasing a property in the area, she would be in good company, as the influx of celebrities buying homes in Cornwall has led to it being dubbed Hollywood on Sea.<\/p>\n

Belfast star Jamie Dornan, double Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett and The Devil Wears Prada\u2019s Stanley Tucci, all have places up the coast.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year Aquaman actor Jason Momoa was reported to be eyeing up properties in the area after he fell in love with it while filming The Lost Kingdom.<\/p>\n
