The 49-year-old Sherlock actress announced she had decided to withdraw from the BBC competition during an interview on It Takes Two on Monday evening.<\/p>\n
The announcement came days after she pulled out of week five’s live show due to “medical reasons”.<\/p>\n
The current series of Strictly will continue as normal with a couple being voted off each week following a dance-off, according to the Press Association.<\/p>\n
The stars in the dance-off will have to impress judges Craig Revel Horwood.<\/p>\n
