The Danish audio-visual brand Bang & Olufsen has teamed up with Japan’s leading wooden furniture manufacturer Karimoku for a limited-time showroom featuring bespoke and new products from both brands.

For nearly 100 years, Bang & Olufsen has shaped the audio-visual and sonic landscape with a focus on acoustics, design, and craftsmanship, making every musical moment personal and special — with this latest collaboration accentuating these core principles.

At the limited-time showroom, visitors can see the process of customizing Bang & Olufsen products, on display alongside various mainline products. The furniture installed at the venue was also created by Karimoku, with some of the pieces representing prototypes custom-made to showcase and further elevate Bang & Olufsen products.

It’s also worth noting that architect Keiji Ashizawa was in charge of the spatial design and that interior stylist Fumiko Sakuhara was in charge of the styling.

Also on display at the venue will be new products from Bang & Olufsen’s made-to-order production line “Atelier Editions.” All of the products in this line are made by the team at the Bang & Olufsen atelier, with each item produced to be unique or made in limited quantity. Additionally, several products in Lilac Twilight, a color that was just announced in August, will be on display at the venue.

The collaborative showroom will be in operation until October 14 and is located at the Bang & Olufsen’s Shibuya, Tokyo location.
