Waterloo Road\u2019s Adam Thomas was seen limping and presumably in pain ahead of this evening\u2019s Strictly Come Dancing live show.<\/p>\n
On Friday, the 35-year-old actor was spotted leaving his hotel wearing a long-sleeved white polo top, a pair of dark trousers and chunky New Balance trainers.<\/p>\n
While wheeling his suitcase out of the establishment, Adam sported a pained expression and was also seen limping.<\/p>\n
The latest snaps come after the ex-Emmerdale actor recently revealed that he had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis.<\/p>\n
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, RA is an autoimmune and inflammatory disease, which means that your immune system attacks healthy cells in your body by mistake, causing inflammation (painful swelling) in the affected parts.<\/p>\n

Am not in the best shape of my life, but I could be worse,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n \u201cThis year has been tough there\u2019s no doubt about that\u2026 but I\u2019ve just got to stay focused now! I\u2019m still struggling and the pain is still there but I\u2019m putting on a brave face I\u2019ve got to stay strong [sic]!\u201d<\/p>\n The father-of-two added that spending time in the swimming pool helps ease the pain caused by his RA.<\/p>\n \u201cSwimming helps me so much with my arthritis, I mean as much as it kills me getting my top off and going for a swim, I know it\u2019s helping me and I know it\u2019s also helping me deal with the issues I\u2019ve got with me and my body.
