Princess Beatrice looks elegant in a black dress as she and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi attend opening of new luxury hotel The OWO<\/h1>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Princess Beatrice, 35, looked elegant in a black dress as she enjoyed night out\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Read more: Princess Eugenie announces series two of her Floodlights podcast<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Princess Beatrice looked chic in a black blazer last night as she enjoyed a date night with her husband\u00a0Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.<\/p>\n<p>The Duke of York&#8217;s daughter, 35, was beaming as she joined Edo and a host of other celebrities for the opening of The OWO in Whitehall yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Built on the historic royal site of Whitehall Palace, Britain\u2019s Old War Office has undergone a monumental six-year transformation to become a hotel, as well as a selection of restaurants, bars and even a spa.<\/p>\n<p>The couple appeared in high spirits as they attended the event last night &#8211;\u00a0 posing for photographs alongside TV personality Tamara Beckwith and Giorgio Veroni.<\/p>\n<p>Mother-of-two Beatrice opted for an elegant blue patterned dress for the occasion, which she paired with a black blazer and stylish stiletto heels.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/27\/09\/75882147-12565527-image-a-46_1695803037828.jpg\" height=\"1002\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Princess Beatrice, 35, looked chic in a black blazer last night as she enjoyed a date night with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/27\/09\/75882149-12565527-image-m-48_1695803049805.jpg\" height=\"793\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The Duke of York&#8217;s daughter was beaming as she joined Edo and a host of other celebrities for the opening of The OWO in Whitehall yesterday<\/p>\n<p><span>Indian billionaires, the Hinduja brothers, formally purchased the 580,000 sq ft site in March 2016 for in excess of \u00a3350 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Hindujas, who are ranked as Britain\u2019s richest businessmen with a \u00a312billion fortune in steel, teamed up with Spanish group Obrascon Huarte Lain Desarrollos to buy a 250-year lease on the historic premises.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The seven-story building, which was constructed in 1906 and bombed eight times in the Blitz, has 1,000 rooms and two-and-a-half miles of corridors.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Old War Office hotel, which opened last night, has seven floors below ground and seven floors above.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>There are 120 bedrooms, nine restaurants \u2014 including one on the roof \u2014 three bars, while the swimming pool, spa, gym and ballroom will all be underground.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Future hotel guests enter from Whitehall (although VIPs will also be driven into the court) and step into the Grand Hall, where they&#8217;ll be greeted by the imposing Brescia marble staircase with richly veined alabaster balusters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The staircase, which Princess Beatrice and Edo took a number of photographs upon, was William Young&#8217;s great tour de force.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>It was described by T. E. Lawrence , who in 1914 was employed in the Geographical Section of the War Office, as being of such opulence that it was &#8216;only for the use of Field Marshals and charwomen&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>More recently the building featured in four James Bond films &#8211; Octopussy, A View to a Kill, Licence to Kill and Skyfall &#8211; portrayed as the MI6 headquarters, where M\u2019s office was located.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Princess Beatrice&#8217;s evening out comes after the couple celebrated their daughter\u00a0Sienna&#8217;s second birthday by sharing a rare glimpse at the young royal.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/27\/09\/75882155-12565527-image-m-51_1695803212947.jpg\" height=\"554\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>The couple appeared in high spirits as they attended the event last night &#8211; posing for photographs alongside TV personality Tamara Beckwith and Giorgio Veroni<\/p>\n<p>Sienna, whose mother is Princess Beatrice, looks cool and stylish, despite only being two years old, in a photo shared by her property developer father on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>She is dressed in a long sleeved frock with red floral print, and dons a Mexican sombrero as she walks barefoot along a pathway which is layered with a soft material.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sharing the photo to his Instagram followers last week, the 39-year-old wrote: &#8216;Harry birthday baby girl. You bring us so much love and joy every day.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The adorable snap of Sienna is a rare glimpse into the life of the young royal, with her parents choosing to keep her private.<\/p>\n<p>Royal fans first glimpsed Sienna earlier this year when her aunt, Princess Eugenie, posted a photo on Instagram of the toddler with her cousin, August (Eugenie&#8217;s eldest son) as they looked mesmerised by the penguin enclosure at London Zoo.<\/p>\n<p>Edo&#8217;s sweet tribute to his daughter comes days after another gushing post dedicated to his wife Princeaa Beatrice following their loved-up appearance at Vogue World in central London last week.<\/p>\n<p>Sharing snaps from the event on social media, he wrote: &#8216;My beautiful wife.
