Neil Young announced last week that he will reissue his 1973 live album, Time Fades Away on November 3, to mark the celebration of the record’s 50th anniversary.

The special reissue, titled Time Fades Away 50, will be out via Reprise Records exclusively in a limited vinyl edition.

The upcoming reissue will contain a bonus track, “The Last Trip to Tulsa,” in addition to the nine original songs from the album. “The Last Trip to Tulsa” was originally released in November 1973 as the B-side to the album’s only single, its title track. Since then, “The Last Trip to Tulsa” also appeared on 2020’s Neil Young Archives Vol. 2: 1972-1976.

Young recorded Time Fades Away in 1973 with backing band Stray Gators and David Crosby and Graham Nash on harmony vocals and acoustic guitar during the massive tour he embarked on in support of his hit 1972 album, Harvest.

Young previously reissued Time Fades Away in 2014 as part of Young’s Record Store Day Official Release Series Discs 5-8 Vinyl Box Set.
