<\/p>\nStrictly Come Dancing professional Katya Jones was forced to declare "Not in the dance world" after her partner Nigel Harman appeared to break a golden rule of dance. <\/p>\n
Rehearsing for this weekend's opening live show, Katya, 34 hit out at EastEnders star Nigel over an issue with his footwear. <\/p>\n
In a clip shared to her Instagram account, Katya wrote "We both learned something from this. Faux pas is a new expression for me" alongside a video in which she asked Nigel, 50: "So what have you done, Nigel?"<\/p>\n

She continued: "This is your learning dancing process. So you put your straps on the on the inside your shoes – not the outside."<\/p>\n

Adjusting his shoes, Nigel hit back: "It makes sense if you're riding horses or wearing jumpers or something. I don't think it's that much of a faux pas."<\/p>\n
It prompted Katya to hit out: "But not in the dancing world. Who's shoes have you got by the way? Let's have a look inside."<\/p>\n
Showing the label, Nigel, who departed Casualty earlier this year said: "It says 'Neil'. They've spelt my name wrong."<\/p>\n
"Are you going to turn into a world champion dancer?" Katya asked, referring to her husband and fellow Strictly pro, Neil Jones. <\/p>\n

Nigel laughed: "A world champion monster of a dancer. Heavily tattooed."<\/p>\n
After being announced as a contestant in this year's offering of the hit BBC show, Nigel compared his forthcoming experience to "being thrown out of a plane". <\/p>\n
But the actor, who uses his Instagram to promote meditation, admitted he has danced before, however. <\/p>\n

"I used to go to Amateur Dramatics in South Croydon, a bit of tap and jazz," he told BirminghamLive. "I have a diploma in musical theatre… some shocking ballet dancing! I\u2019m very good from the waist up, big face and good arms, waist down is shocking… no elasticity, nothing! When I left college I danced on a cruise ship for six months, not the best one I\u2019ll be honest, 17 costume changes in a 35 minute show, that sort of thing!<\/p>\n
"I did some musicals in London when I was first starting out, I would understudy the lead, so I had to dance well enough to do the ensemble stuff, but I would always head for the back. Very enthusiastic but not great. I haven\u2019t really danced in 20 years though! Enthusiastic, with a bit of training. I\u2019ve never learnt a step of Ballroom or Latin dancing."<\/p>\n
