A little over a year ago, Bowers & Wilkins dropped off its Px7 S2 wireless headphones, merging pristine audio with industrial-inspired, functional design.

The British audio brand is now taking things up a notch with its next-gen addition to the growing lineup. The Px7 S2e delivers on the unmatchable sound made popular by its predecessor, with a few additional upgrades for the modern audiophile.

For starters, Bowers & Wilkins offers 24-bit audio for high-quality audio across streaming services. Building on this is the brand’s use of Qualcomm’s adaptive technology, which conforms to transmit optimal sound from computers, speakers and other devices.

Like in its previous models, the brand’s engineers custom-made drive units specifically for the headphones. The 40 mm units included in the Px7 S2e focus on reducing distortion and helping enforce the model’s noise-canceling capabilities. Levels of noise transparency can be adjusted by the user by either pressing a physical button on the headphones or via a dedicated app.

Many Bowers & Wilkins fans don’t merely appreciate the brand for its sound quality – though that’s definitely one factor – but also its timeless, mindful design approach. The Px7 S2e is simple and straightforward while still prioritizing comfort. The band and ear cups of the headphones come lined in plush faux leather, while the band itself can be lengthed or shortened simply by pushing or pulling the ear cups.

Each pair of the Px7 S2e comes in monochromatic editions of “Anthracite Black,” “Ocean Blue” and “Cloud Grey,” along with the totally new shade of “Forest Green.” Priced at $399 USD, the headphones are available for purchase on the Bowers & Wilkins website.
