Florence Pugh knocked it out the park at the Elle Style Awards in London on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Looking sensational on the red carpet in a semi-sheer lace dress, the 27-year-old Oscar-nominated actress\u2019 gown spilled out into a beautiful mermaid tail.<\/p>\n
Florence made her cream-hued dress pop by rocking a bright blue manicure, but best of all, had her iconic blonde hair fashioned into an uber-cool spiky style, making it clear why she was recently awarded British Icon by the magazine.<\/p>\n
Earlier this month, Florence revealed on Instagram that she\u2019d been crowned a British icon by the glossy, saying: \u2018To be given not only a cover but awarded The British Icon by Elle Style Awards was not how I expected my summer to end.\u2019<\/p>\n
As for Florence\u2019s iconic spiky hair, she hilariously told fans last month that she thinks the haircut makes her look like none other than Guy Fieri.<\/p>\n
Alongside a snap of his short blonde cut, she penned: \u2018Sometimes when I get out of the shower I look like\u00a0Guy Fieri\u00a0<\/strong>and I love it.\u2019<\/p>\n The actress switched up her long locks for a shaved head-turned-pixie cut following her\u00a0Met Gala<\/strong>\u00a0appearance in May.<\/p>\n Speaking about her choice to shave off all her hair, Florence told\u00a0Radio Times<\/strong>\u00a0that she \u2018purposefully chose\u2019 to draw attention away from \u2018vanity\u2019 in pictures.<\/p>\n The Little Women actress explained: \u2018Hollywood is very glamorous \u2015 especially for women \u2015 and it\u2019s hard for an audience to see past that.<\/p>\n \u2018Whenever I\u2019ve not needed to be glam or have a full face of makeup, I fight to keep it that way. It helps the audience.
