Over in Emmerdale, we\u2019re currently seeing Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) in revenge mode.<\/p>\n
She was jilted on the morning of her wedding by fianc\u00e9 Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) who couldn\u2019t go through with the wedding because he\u2019s gay and it was all a fake set-up to help his dad Caleb (William Ash) get revenge on Kim Tate (Claire King). And Gabby desperately wants Nicky to suffer for what he did.<\/p>\n
Recently viewers saw Gabby trying to enlist the help of Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) to do Nicky some physical harm \u2013 and she\u2019s not above a bit of blackmail to help persuade Billy to do her bidding.<\/p>\n

Gabby fell quickly for Nicky after he came to Home Farm to work as a nanny (or pretend to work as a nanny, at least) and it wasn\u2019t long before the two of them were having passionate moments behind the sofa and behind Kim\u2019s back.<\/p>\n
Before that Gabby had had a relationship with Marlon (Mark Charnock)\u2019s physiotherapist Kit (Thoren Ferguson), again wasting no time before heading for the bedroom with the hunk, who also happened to be dating her step mum Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy).<\/p>\n
\u2018She\u2019s out there and up for anything, whereas I am not like that at all,\u2019 Rosie Bentham told The Sun recently, keen to stress the differences between her and the character she plays.<\/p>\n

When people first meet me they think I\u2019m this \u201cready to give everything to everyone\u201d kind of girl,\u2019 she explained. \u2018But I\u2019m like, \u201cNo, you\u2019ve got to try a lot harder than that with me, you can\u2019t just walk through the door.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n
She admitted that Gabby\u2019s \u2018Come on then, let\u2019s go upstairs\u2019 approach was \u2018a lot of fun to play,\u2019 but insisted she was \u2018always very well behaved on a night out.\u2019<\/p>\n
Rosie said that she does often get approached by men on a night out \u2013 but for an unexpected reason.<\/p>\n
\u2018A lot of guys my age don\u2019t watch Emmerdale, but they\u2019ll come up and ask me to do videos for their mums,\u2019 the actress laughed. \u2018It\u2019s usually when we all go out and I\u2019m with the other cast members that I\u2019m more likely to get recognised. You\u2019ll see people next to you scrolling through your Instagram page just to check it is you.\u2019<\/p>\n

Despite this, Rosie is currently seeing someone although she admits she\u2019s taking things slowly and is quite cautious.<\/p>\n
\u2018I would say that I\u2019m getting to know someone at the moment but I\u2019m very private when it comes to my love life,\u2019 she revealed.<\/p>\n
\u2018I\u2019m only 22 and things can go wrong pretty quickly at my age, so we\u2019re just taking things slowly. We\u2019re all finding our way.<\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s very important to keep your barriers up when meeting people because you never know what their true intentions are. I\u2019ve always been quite cautious when it comes to love and have never dated anyone in the public eye. The guy I\u2019m getting to know is just a normal guy.\u2019<\/p>\n

While Rosie is keeping her love life quiet, it sounds like life is going to be anything but quiet for her character Gabby in the months to come.<\/p>\n
\u2018There\u2019s so many new storylines coming my way,\u2019 Rosie enthused. \u2018I\u2019m really happy and just want to grab everything they can give me. I\u2019m at an age where they\u2019re offering me lots of great things. It\u2019s just never-ending drama.\u2019<\/p>\n
She\u2019s also keeping her fingers crossed for wins for Emmerdale at the National Television Awards.<\/p>\n
\u2018It would be great for Emmerdale to keep the best serial drama title for another year,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n
\u2018Everyone works so hard and I am so proud to be a part of such a talented bunch of people. As soap actors we love the loyalty of the fans, and it means so much that people continue to enjoy the stories and vote for us to win awards.<\/p>\n
