At Geneva Watch Days, De Bethune debuted the DB28XP Kind of Blue, a dazzling and ultra-limited time-teller that interplays with shadow and light.

Described by the horologer as a “perfect fusion of tradition and innovation,” the new timepiece is presented in a Microlight-finished titanium case and doused in a mesmerizing blue tinge. Crafted in polished rose gold, the spherical hour-markers and lume-filled handset lightly illuminate the asymmetric dial.

As per De Bethune’s usual approach, the timepiece is a statement on the wrist, boasting a 42mm case diameter and 8.5mm in thickness. Through its exhibition caseback, the linear power reserve indicator can be clearly observed.

Coming with the timepiece are complementing alligator straps in dark blue, fastened in place with a tonal buckle and pin made of polished titanium.

Only 25 examples are made, head over to De Bethune’s official website for more information on the DB28XP Kind of Blue.
