Phillip Schofield has reportedly hired a trusted team of accountants to help with his finances following his ITV exit.<\/p>\n
The TV presenter, 61, retreated from the public eye following the revelation of his \u2018\u2018unwise but not illegal\u2019\u00a0affair with a younger runner on This Morning which subsequently saw him resign from the show and other projects.<\/p>\n
He was also\u00a0dropped by his agents of 35 years<\/strong>\u00a0YMU and\u00a0from The Prince\u2019s Trust,\u00a0<\/strong>where he was an ambassador, and lost sponsorship deals.<\/p>\n In his first full interview since confessing to the affair he told The Sun: \u2018Telly was my safe space, the one thing I loved. Now I don\u2019t know if I will ever work on telly again.\u2019<\/p>\n According to The Mirror, Phil has turned to Sedulo, a firm that specialises in helping high-net-worth clients grow their wealth to help handle his fortune.<\/p>\n However, Phillip\u2019s representative Jonathan Coad told Metro.co.uk<\/strong> that the claims are \u2018absolute nonsense.\u2019<\/p>\n This comes after\u00a0This Morning\u2019s future was supposedly revealed,\u00a0with Holly Willoughby set to helm the show alongside a rotation of co-presenters as ITV decides to not replace Schofield.<\/p>\n The Wylde Moon founder, 42, will be the only permanent fixture on the long-running show and will be joined \u2018mostly\u2019 by Josie Gibson, 38, and Craig Doyle, 52, it has been claimed.<\/p>\n Alison, 48, and Dermot, 50, who present the programme on Fridays, will also reportedly join the Dancing on Ice host \u2018sporadically.\u2019<\/p>\n To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a webbrowser thatsupports HTML5video<\/p>\n Following Phil\u2019s confession, This Morning has been rocked by claims of \u2018toxicity\u2019 from former stars\u00a0Dr Ranj Singh\u00a0and\u00a0Eamonn Holmes, with the former claiming he was\u00a0managed out when he raised concerns\u00a0with ITV bosses.<\/p>\n ITV chief executive Carolyn McCall later\u00a0addressed claims about the culture\u00a0at the programme during a parliamentary committee.<\/p>\n Shooting down the accusations, she said: \u2018What I know is that when we talk about culture it\u2019s incredibly important to me, personally and so it deeply disappoints me, right?<\/p>\n \u2018But we do not recognise that in This Morning and the reason for that is that we have tangible evidence to tell you that the vast majority of people at daytime and at This Morning are engaged.\u2019<\/p>\n![](\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/themes\/metro-parent\/img\/fallback.png\")
