One punter won a \u00a32million prize on August 16 while another scooped \u00a31million on July 19.<\/p>\n

July's winner won with a ticket bought in the City of Milton Keyneswhen they matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.<\/p>\n
The first\u00a0National Lottery draw\u00a0was held on November 19\u00a01994 when seven winners shared a jackpot of \u00a35,874,778.<\/p>\n
As well as being in with a chance of winning serious cash, playing the Lotto also helps raise around \u00a330m each week for UK good causes.<\/p>\n
You can buy a ticket on draw days, Saturdays and Wednesdays, until 7.30pm.<\/p>\n
The largest amount ever to be won by a single ticket holder was \u00a342million, won in 1996.<\/p>\n
Gareth Bull, a 49-year-old builder, won \u00a341million in November, 2020 and ended up knocking down\u00a0his bungalow to make way for a luxury manor house with a pool.<\/p>\n
Sue Davies, 64, bought a lottery ticket to\u00a0celebrate ending five months of shielding during the pandemic \u2014 and won \u00a3500,000.<\/p>\n
Sandra Devine, 36, accidentally won \u00a3300k\u00a0– she intended to buy her usual \u00a3100 National Lottery Scratchcard, but came home with a much bigger prize.<\/p>\n
