A TOP indie rocker has traded in fame for a very normal job.<\/p>\n
Noughties Britpop star Benedict Gautrey, 42, was the frontman for The Cooper Temple Clause formed in 1998.<\/p>\n

They released three albums which proved hugely popular with fans and tracks including Let's Kill Music and Promises, Promises.<\/p>\n
Ben was the lead singer and guitarist of the Berkshire-formed group which split in 2007, when member Daniel Fisher quit.<\/p>\n
His exit came at a similar time to Ben being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, which sparked a complete change of career.<\/p>\n
Talking of the band's split, he told NME: "That\u2019s when I knew I wanted to try something new, so I did a degree in occupational psychology at Goldsmiths College. <\/p>\n

"Right now, I work for an organisation that mediates dialogue between employers and workers to improve their relationships."<\/p>\n
His LinkedIn page now states he is the managing director of the Great Place To Work consultancy.<\/p>\n
The organisation helps employees to feel "trusted and valued."<\/p>\n
He added to the publication: "Looking back, I can see that some of the problems of being in a band like recognition and breakdown in communication seem to happen in all workplaces. <\/p>\n
