Elton John, 76, joins a whole host of VERY famous friends including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 33, and wife Sam, 58, and David Walliams on his \u00a321m superyacht in St Tropez<\/h2>\n

Elton John played host to their very famous friends in sun-soaked St Tropez on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The music legend, 76, rolled out the red carpet for Aaron Taylor-Johnson, 33, and movie director wife Sam, 58, as well as Little Britain star David Walliams, 52, for a trip on his and husband David Furnish’s \u00a321M superyacht.<\/p>\n

Sir Elton cut a trendy figure dressed head to toe in Gucci with a floral shirt, shorts and bright white trainers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shielding his eyes behind shades the Crocodile Rock hitmaker was decked out in gold jewellery with a pearl encrusted crucifix hung around his neck.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He were also joined by sons\u00a0Zachary, 12, and Elijah, ten, as they climbed aboard for their day at sea.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Hugs: Movie star Aaron shared a hug with Elton’s son\u00a0Zachary, 12<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Aaron showed off his buff physique in a white shirt which he wore unbuttoned and teamed with smart tan chinos.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Wife Sam shielded her eyes behind shades and put on a leggy display in black cut off denim shorts and layered a yellow top over her swimsuit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Comedian David also displayed his bare chest in the sunshine in an unbuttoned black shirt as he was seen\u00a0arriving alongside the fellow guests.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The vessel sleeps 18 guests in eight lavish bedrooms, each with its own en suite with a 12 strong crew.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It also boasts a whopping 50-inch plasma screen TV, library, as well as a top of the range gym.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Elton is clearly making the most of his retirement from touring following his final show of the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in July.<\/p>\n

The tour, which began in 2018, was a resounding success for Elton and grossed $816,840,988 worldwide.<\/p>\n

The star has chosen to hang up his boots, citing a desire to spend more time with David and their kids.<\/p>\n

Labels galore! David carried a Gucci tote while lugging his essentials in a crossbody Dior bag\u00a0<\/p>\n

Helping hands: Sir. Elton was offered assistance by the crew\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Close behind: He then followed a member of his entourage\u00a0<\/p>\n

He said: ‘Touring is exhausting for me now, and it takes me away from my family and my children.’<\/p>\n

However, Elton added that he hasn’t given up performing for good and will likely still play ‘the odd show’ every now and then.<\/p>\n

Family is important to Elton who previously called his sons ‘the greatest thing’ in he and husband David’s lives.<\/p>\n

Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016, he said: ‘If you’d had said to me ten years ago I’d be sitting on your show married to the man I love and have two beautiful children I would have said, “You put acid in my drink.”<\/p>\n

‘But life throws you challenges and life throws you curveballs \u2014 great curveballs \u2014 and these two children have come along at a time I never thought I’d have children.\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Thanks! Aaron shook hands with the crew as he was welcomed on board\u00a0<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Weather: Everyone made the most of the sunshine and sat out on the deck\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘There’s no words to describe how much we love these boys. They’re just amazing.’<\/p>\n

On his 75th birthday, Elton wrote a letter to his sons published in Time magazine where he called them his ‘proudest achievements’.<\/p>\n

He wrote: ‘Zachary and Elijah, you two are the greatest gifts I have ever been given<\/p>\n

‘You have filled my heart with love and my life with purpose and meaning in ways I didn’t think were possible.<\/p>\n

‘You are my proudest achievements, and I love you both so, so much … Whoever you grow up to be, just be you \u2014 fully and completely you.’<\/p>\n
