Britney Spears was said to have severely injured her head on a coffee table during an \u2018explosive\u2019 argument with her ex-husband Sam Asghari.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 41-year-old singer shocked fans after it was announced she was parting ways with her partner Sam, 29, after 14 months of marriage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Since their public split, it has been claimed Britney needed stitches and medical attention following an argument that caused her to smash her head off a coffee table.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The allegations arose from an interview with TMZ\u2019s founder Harvey Levin who made the claims in a documentary titled Britney Spears: Divorce & Despair which aired on Fox on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He said: \u2018She and Sam were going at it in a hotel room, and it got so bad [that] she tripped and hit the coffee table, cracking her head open. She needed stitches.\u2019<\/p>\n
According to the MailOnline, executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere spoke out in the film and said that Britney\u2019s alleged \u2018volatility\u2019 was the reason behind Sam\u2019s reason for ending the short marriage to the pop star.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The publication also reported that claims of previous physical altercations between the couple had existed \u2013 as put forward by sources \u2013 and that the star had given her former spouse a black eye while he slept.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Following the news of the separation, Britney told fans she \u2018couldn\u2019t take the pain anymore\u2019 but would remain strong in the face of adversity after her husband filed for divorce.<\/p>\n
Documents \u2013 which were filed at a court in Los Angeles \u2013 cited \u2018irreconcilable differences\u2019 and also revealed that the couple separated almost three weeks ago.<\/p>\n
Last Saturday, she publicly addressed the separation for the first time in a lengthy Instagram post caption which was attached to a video of her performing a dance.<\/p>\n
It read: \u2018As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together \u2026 six years is a long time to be with someone so, I\u2019m a little shocked but \u2026 I\u2019m not here to explain why because its (sic) honestly nobody\u2019s business.<\/p>\n

\u2018But, I couldn\u2019t take the pain anymore honestly. In some sort of telepathic way I have been receiving so many messages that melt my heart from friends and I thank you.<\/p>\n
\u2018I\u2019ve been playing it strong for way too long and my Instagram may seem perfect but it\u2019s far from reality and I think we all know that.<\/p>\n
\u2018I would love to show my emotions and tears on how I really feel but some reason I\u2019ve always had to hide my weaknesses.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
