Tipping Points Ben Shephard infuriates fans by repeating annoying name habit
Tipping Point fans were left frustrated on Tuesday afternoon, as they spotted one 'annoying' catchphrase from presenter Ben Shephard.
Contestants Siobhan, Alun, Amanda and Peter had all stepped up to the podium to face some tricky trivia from Ben, for the chance of scooping a whopping £10,000 jackpot.
But frustrated fans instead latched on to Ben's 'repetitive' habit of repeating contestants' names as he directed questions at them.
Turning to Twitter, a horde of frustrated fans were on hand to post: "Does Ben Shephard on Tipping Point annoy the s**t out of anyone else the way he always says everyone's names?
"'Ooh Siobhan', 'Aww Alun it's riding', 'Ohh, Amanda, nothing for that', just shut up! I'm pretty sure they can all see what's going on!" the fan fumed.
Another fan agreed: "He over exaggerates and since I first noticed it, it just continuously grated on me!"
"Find Tipping Point annoying in general!" someone else chuckled.
Someone else, however, responded: "It's obvious you're easily annoyed! To be honest I haven't really noticed!"
Another quickly picked up on Ben's use of the word 'lateral' to describe certain drops, as they penned: "Take a shot of vodka every time Ben says 'a bit of lateral'. Don't. You won't make The Chase! #TippingPoint."
However, plenty fans were simply happy to see Ben gracing their screens, as one posted: "I only watch Tipping Point for Ben!" with a heart-eyed emoji.
