Tipping Point fans fuming at Boris Johnson for last-minute cancellation
Tipping Point fans were fuming today after a last-minute cancellation.
The popular gameshow was scrapped this afternoon and replaced by an ITV news special.
Viewers were horrified to see Boris Johnson on their screens instead of much-loved presenter Ben Shephard.
The new Prime Minister was making his first speech in his new role on the steps of No10 after meeting with the Queen.
And Tipping Point's legions of fans took their frustrations out on Boris for ruining their daily routine.
Angry Tipping Point fans took to Twitter after discovering the normal show wasn't on.
One viewer said: "What… #TippingPoint cancelled today because of #BorisJohnsonPM. Damn you already!"
"@ITV can’t believe that they are not showing #tenable and #tippingpoint to put a stupid news coverage of #BorisJohnsonPM becoming the new pm.. I mean c’mon as there’s nothing on TV….. still have to wait until 5 for #TheChase," added another.
A third said: "Wtf! An ITV news special is stopping me watching #TippingPoint @benshephard you’re more important than that blonde haired t***, you need to put your foot down @itvnews @ITV"
"How dare you cancel #tippingpoint for this marathon of s***e. You're all reported," said a fourth.
When Boris' speech finished ITV did put on a 30 minute episode of Tipping Point's best bits.
Normal service was then resumed at 5pm when The Chase came on with host Bradley Walsh.
*Tipping Point airs weekdays on ITV at 4pm
