This Morning has been dramatically pulled off air 15 minutes early.

Viewers were left scratching their heads as an emergency pre-recorded segment of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby played as the show returned from an advert break at 12.15pm.

The pair were hosting Thursday's show live as usual before they were replaced by footage of them trying out tree-hugging.

Fans rushed to their keyboards as they were left wondering what happened to the show.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "What happened? Was waiting to see Guess the Gadget."

Another added: "In an emergency situation. It’s an auto tape that rolls constantly and switches in. Could be studio issue or something larger. War or Royal Death. Let’s hope not."

A third person predicted: "Maybe the fire alarm has gone off #thismorning."

While a fourth social media user said: "This is a bit spooky."

Daily Star have contacted ITV for a comment.

Earlier in the episode, Hollywood star Rebel Wilson chatted to This Morning host Alison Hammond about her upcoming BAFTA Awards hosting stint.

The pair got on like a house on fire but viewers were distracted from the interview by Rebel's stunning new look.

She has recently lost over five stone since embarking on her "Year of Health" back in 2020.

Rebel donned a stunning dress for her latest television appearance to show off her weight loss.

Her blonde tresses were styled in bouncy waves and she wore a full face of glamorous makeup to accentuate her pretty features.

Fans rushed to their keyboards to share their thoughts on her new look.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "For a sec, I doubted that was Rebel Wilson. She looks so good."

Another added: "Rebel Wilson looks great. You go girl."

A third person posted: "Love Rebel, she looks great! So does Alison."

While a fourth social media user said: "omg Rebel Wilson looks amazing."
