NINETIES pop legend Shanice looks almost unrecognisable 31 years after she released her smash hit I Love Your Smile.
Themade her debut in the music industry when she released her first album, Discovery in 1987.
Shanice, 49, now sports a very different look as the distinct short bob look has been replaced by long wavy curls.
She also sports thick bangs which cover her forehead, although according to her Instagram, she is not afraid to flash her signature smile.
Her inception album, Discovery, produced when she was just 14-years-old, gave her two top 10 R&B hits.
The star later went onto sign with the famous Motown records in 1991, where she achieved mainstream success.

The singer went onto have a very successful career in the music industry in the 90's.
Arguably, she's best known for the hit song, I Love Your Smile.
The track went to the top five in 12 territories worldwide and it made the top 10 in 22 countries.
She also released the US top 40 single Silent Prayer in 1991.

Her 1993 song Saving Forever for You also reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
In 1999 she went onto release When I Close My Eyes which peaked at number 12 on the Billboard hot 100.
Her voice has also been heard on several iconic film soundtracks including Eddie Murphy's Boomerang, The Meteor Man as well as Disney's 1995 classic Pocahontas.
Her voice can also be heard in the backing vocals of Toni Braxton's smash hit, Un-Break My Heart.
Shanice married actor and comedian Flex Alexander in February 2000.
The pair share two children together, Shekinah Knox, 21, and 18-year-old Elijah Alexander Knox.
They celebrated their 23rd anniversary last month where she paid a touching tribute to her husband on Instagram.
Alongside a sweet throwback picture set to backing music she wrote: "Happy 23rd anniversary to my hubby @flexaforeal !!! Thank you for our beautiful kids.
