Michelle Keegan says she’s ‘constantly frustrated’ by people asking when she’ll have a baby with Mark Wright – The Sun

MICHELLE Keegan has revealed she often gets "frustrated" when people constantly question when she and husband Mark Wright will have children.

The Our Girl actress – who wed former Towie star Mark in 2015 – hit back at sexist double standards, insisting "nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors".

Speaking in the August issue of Cosmopolitan UK, the 33-year-old said: "A few years ago it didn't bother me and I answered the question, but now I think, 'I don't need to answer that because nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors'.

"I know for a fact if Mark finished a job, nobody would ask him if he was going to have a baby. It's not fair. It does make me feel frustrated."

During the candid interview, Michelle also talked about having to deal with constant rumours that her marriage to Mark is in trouble, saying: "If you go away for work it’s seen as a negative and not a positive.

"I just don’t understand that and find it hard. You’re trying to carve yourself a career and people say you shouldn’t be doing it because it impacts your marriage. It’s ridiculous.

"That can be quite difficult because it’s hard enough being away from home as it is without negative stories. A few years ago it would have bothered me more than it does now."

Meanwhile, last month The Sun exclusively revealed how Michelle and Mark have become the richest young couple on telly earning over £2.6 million between them in the last year.

Michelle has raked in well over £4 million since quitting Corrie – 66 times her original soap salary of £60,000-a-year for playing Weatherfield's glamour girl Tina McIntyre.

She quit the show in 2014 and the hard-working star’s firm Rosia Promotions Limited cleared another £1.2 million in 2019 to add to the cash deposits in her company account.

The outfit now is £1.7 million in cash in its coffers – that’s with costs, tax and dividends for the year taken out.

She registered her first million three years after leaving the show and hasn’t looked back since.

Meanwhile, husband Mark's company The Wright Looks had reserves of £1,134,776 last year, again, his best ever tally.

The record profits mean they had a combined worth in 2019 of £2,637,820, which blows other TV pairs out of the water.

The power couple married on May 2015 at St Mary's Church in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Back in May, Michelle paid trouble her husband on their fifth wedding anniversary with a cute unseen snap.
