Sir Michael Parkinson joined Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley on Good Morning Britain on Wednesday to discuss his latest book. As he reflected on his career, Michael was joined by his son Mike Parkinson. However, some ITV viewers were concerned about the veteran broadcaster’s appearance.

@LizzyBeynon tweeted: “Michael Parkinson bless him  he looks so frail love him. Lovely man!”

@ChatsCoffee1 added: “Quite sad seeing how frail Michael Parkinson is looking.”

“He’s looking very frail tbh. He was a thing in his heyday, a must watch,” @JohnDoe29248490 wrote.

GMB viewers praised the broadcaster as he shared memories from his vast career.

@johnnygibbons62 wrote: “what an interview with Michael Parkinson on GMB. Looked and spoke brilliantly. Been through a lot recently health wise but this was top drawer. An absolute legend.”
