Martin Lewis was overcome with emotion during a heartbreaking interview with Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show as he demanded the government tackle the energy crisis.
During Monday’s instalment of the popular daytime show, the 49-year-old discussed the rise of the energy bill price cap after he choked back tears during his ITV Money Show last week.
The Money Saving Expert was tasked with advising residents up and down the country how to avoid the crippling influx in energy bills which plunged millions of homes into debt over the festive period.
After speaking with some of those greatly affected by the skyrocketing prices, the dad-of-one struggled to hold back the tears as he admit there were very few ways for viewers to avoid the price jump.
And it’s clear to see last week’s show continues to make the TV presenter emotional as he choked up when speaking about the nationwide problem with Lorraine.
