Love Island fans will be happy to know that the wait is finally over – the islanders will be returning to the main villa.

Love Island spoilers see the stars in the main villa gather around the firepit as host Laura Whitmore enters the villa in Wednesday night's episode to kick off the recoupling – but who will stick and who will twist?

Ahead of the dreaded text, both villas are warned that a recoupling looms and they need to firm their decision, with Paige Thorne saying that she's excited to see Jacques again.

Meanwhile, Tasha is left concerned while Dami declares that his head is completely scrambled as he says: "I'm scared", after finding out he needs to make the ultimate decision.

Although it's unlikely all will be revealed in Wednesday night's episode, Laura begins proceedings, so it looks like a safe reunion will certainly be revealed.

However, there are few couples who actually appear to be safe, bar Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.

Singletons Jay and Danica are both expected to recouple, but for the rest of the islanders, it looks like heartbreak is in store – particularly for the girls.

While Paige is patiently waiting to reunite with her beau, Jacques and Cheyanne get cosy on the terrace as he tells her he only wants to get to know her.

He leans in for a kiss with the new blonde – but that's all ahead of the bombshell text, so will his feelings change?

However, things could be heating back up for Davide and Ekin-Su despite a rocky few days, with Davide being told by Jay that it's "obvious" he still has a connection with Ekin.

Jay tells Davide: "You don't just wanna throw that to the side out of spite, it's not right man," while telling him to "stay true to how you feel".

And it seems Andrew has had a complete change of heart with Tasha, telling Jacques he feels like he's "been lied to", adding he felt he was "with someone and not being enough".

For Indiyah it looks like she's keen on keeping her options open as she tells Deji: "In the real world, I’m used to dating. It doesn’t invalidate my feelings for anything.

"Hypothetically speaking, if you were to come back to the villa with me I would have to have those conversations still with Dami.

So could Indiyah bring back Deji to continue testing her connections? Fans will have to wait and see.

Love Island returns tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
