Lorraine slams Emmerdale’s Asan N’Jie as stunned Corrie star discusses brawl

Lorraine Kelly has slammed Emmerdale star Asan N'Jie following his very public TV Choice Awards brawl with Jamie Lomas.

The young Emmerdale actor had to be held back by his fellow soap stars and security as he screamed vile threatened to stab and kill the Hollyoaks star in the Mirror's exclusive video

Asan, whose character Ellis Chapman has been involved in a knife attack storyline, yelled: “Do you think you are a f*****g big man? I’m going to f*****g kill you. I’m going to f*****g knife you.”

Presenter Lorraine, who won an Outstanding Achievement Award at the star-studded ceremony, had her say on the "fracas" between the soap stars.

Coronation Street favourite Lucy Fallon shook her head as veteran award ceremony attendee Lorraine laid into N'Jie's behaviour.

Lorraine confessed she had not actually seen the pair fighting as she had gone home early after picking up her award.

Revealing details of the drama, Lorraine said: "There was a fracas apparently afterwards. I don’t know as I went home really, really early. I didn’t see any of this.

"Apparently there were people squaring up giving square goes. We never saw that did we."

Admitting she had not witnessed any of the violence, Lucy replied: "I never saw that. I just saw that this morning."

Continuing to lay into the pair, Lorraine said: "For goodness sake. It's supposed to be good fun. It’s just an awards ceremony. Everybody to get together and have a good time."

The Bethany Platt actress added: "I had a nice time!"

N'Jie left the awards bash 15 minutes after security intervened at the Hilton Park Lane hotel in London's Mayfair district.

Emmerdale viewers have now demanded Asan be sacked from the show for his 'disgusting' behaviour.

ITV have spoken out on the shocking footage, published by the Mirror , revealing they have called Asan in for 'emergency crisis talks'.

A spokesman for ITV said: "We are extremely concerned to hear about an incident at last night’s TV Choice Awards involving one of Emmerdale’s cast. Obviously we will be investigating and talking to the actor concerned in due course."
