Loose Women Gloria Hunniford carries out show in snow leopard mask from Masked Singer

Gloria Hunniford couldn't resist wearing her snow leopard mask from The Masked Singer as she appeared on Loose Women.

TV star Gloria, 81, was the second star to be unmasked in the latest series of the bizarre guessing game ITV show.

And, after her identity was revealed, Gloria couldn't help but make her next TV appearance in the elaborate leopard mask.

Gloria sported the head from her The Masked Singer costume as she discussed her time on the show on Tuesday 4 January's stint of Loose Women.

The TV star's decision to sport the headgear on the ITV daytime show tickled viewers as one tweeted: "I can’t take Gloria hunniford serious keeping that snow leopard head on #loosewomen".

While another said: "Best tv so far today. Gloria Hunniford carrying on the interview on Loose women as snow leopard with the mask on."

And a third added: "I would laugh so hard if it WASN’T Gloria Hunniford lmao #LooseWomen".

It comes after Gloria was unmasked on the ITV show, which sees celebrities conceal their identities under a dramatic costume and give cryptic clues about their lives before singing on stage.

During Sunday's second episode of series three, Snow Leopard went against Poodle where they lost out and at the end of the show had to be unmasked, with Gloria being revealed.

Only judge Jonathan Ross correctly guessed that Snow Leopard was Gloria and viewers at home had also rumbled the identity after several cryptic clues.

After removing the mask, Gloria revealed that she started singing at just seven years of age and that she hadn't performed on a stage in 27 years.

The star also revealed that her clue "just like cats, I'm not a fan of water" was a nod at the fact that she can't swim and that her "alter ego" was her Loose Women nickname during the pandemic, which was "Glo Rida".

She added: "I have to say, I genuinely love this programme anyway. I couldn't believe it when I was asked to take part. Look at the costume!"

Gloria was the second celebrity to be unveiled on the series, as Heather Small was revealed as Chandelier on the first episode.
