Laura Hamilton mocked by A Place in the Sun fans for bright outfit

Laura Hamilton was on A Place in the Sun trying to find a Spanish holiday home for Donna and Terry and she'd picked out some very bright items of clothing for the occasion.

In Friday's episode (May 21) the presenter was conducting her hunt in Manilva on the Costa del Sol and was challenged with bad weather – limiting her outfit choices.

Laura paired a pink dress with a bright yellow wool coat to keep out some of the rain and wind, in an inspiring rhubarb-and-custard look.

She also wore a pair of high-heeled wedges as she traipsed around the wind-battered beaches and holiday villas with the couple.

A Place in the Sun viewers noticed the interesting outfit combo and commented about it on Twitter, with some ruthlessly teasing Laura about the colourful look.

One person joked: "Laura’s not thought the outfit through has she, just grab any coat I’m only going on telly."

A second cheeky viewer piped up: "Hope the next house isn't yellow. Laura will disappear!"

"Oh Laura, what are you wearing?" cringed someone else.

Meanwhile, other viewers were amazed she was able to balance in the sand while wearing the high heels.

"Where Laura's feet gone standing on that beach?" asked one.

A fan remarked: "Laura schlepping about in her wedges that don't fit…"

"How the f*** does she traipse around in those bloody wedges?" blasted a third."

Unfortunately, Laura's property hunting expertise didn't result in any joy for Donna and Terry who admitted they had never visited that part of Spain before deciding to try and find a home there.

The couple, who support Manchester United, left the show without making any offers and Laura revealed in a voiceover at the end that they no longer wanted to live in Spain and had started looking at properties in Turkey.
