Kate Garraway’s fans have rallied around the Good Morning Britain host to defend her Life Stories interview with Omid Djalili in the wake of a wave of criticism.
During the interview, Omid revealed he was rejected by 16 different drama schools, forged exam results and took his A Levels six times.
As the hour-long conversation continued, ITV viewers took to social media to blast Kate’s interviewing technique.
Some accused the broadcaster of not letting her guest “properly reply to her questions without her chucking another one at them”, with others finding it “difficult to watch”.
Despite the backlash, fans of the veteran journalist jumped to her defence on Twitter.
